HELLO

I’m Priscilla, trained as a shoe and accessory designer. It is above all creating pieces by hand that intrigues me and seduces me. To watch my grand mother knit and sew for hours. To be captivated by the saddle style stitched strong leather material made by the hands of my grand father. This is where my interest for these ancestral and artisanal techniques comes from. My interests include weaving, knitting, natural dyeing and working with leather. 

Through this journal, I want to share with you my plant and textile inspirations. Promoting the link between the vegetal world and the textile craft through portraits of botanists, dyes and medicinal plants, natural textile fibers, dyers and handweavers.

C'est avant tout le geste de la main qui m'intrigue et me séduit.
Regarder ma grand-mère tricoter et coudre pendant des heures. Être captivée par la réalisation d'une couture sellier sur un cuir robuste par les mains de mon grand-père.
C'est de là que vient mon intérêt pour les techniques ancestrales et artisanales, comme le tissage, le tricot, la teinture végétale et le travail du cuir.

A travers ce journal, je souhaite partager avec vous mes découvertes et inspirations végétales et textiles.
